On the streets of Sri Lanka, countless dogs wake up every day unsure where their next meal will come from — or if they’ll survive the night. Many are abandoned simply for being born female, feared because they can reproduce. Others are male dogs left behind when families move away or can no longer care for them.

These dogs don’t choose this life. But together, we can help change it.

From Abandonment to Safety

Each dog we rescue carries a story — of hunger, fear, injury, or rejection. Some were found wandering alone as puppies. Others were mothers left behind after giving birth. Many arrived weak, scared, and unsure of human kindness.

Today, 10 rescued dogs are under our care. They now have:

  • A safe place to rest

  • Regular meals and clean water

  • Medical attention when they’re sick or injured

  • Compassion, patience, and love

For many of them, this is the first time they’ve ever known safety.

Your Kindness Creates New Beginnings

Every donation — no matter the size — helps us provide food, shelter, and vet care. But beyond the basics, your support gives something even more powerful: hope.

Hope that a dog who once hid from humans can learn to trust again.
Hope that a frightened mother can raise her puppies safely.
Hope that abandonment is not the end of their story.

More Than Rescue — A Promise

We don’t see these dogs as numbers. Each one has a name, a personality, and a future worth fighting for. We are committed to caring for both male and female dogs, because every life matters equally.
